Resolute Photoshoot in Boston
Talk about fun … those who know me, know that I am a passionate photographer who masquerades as a graphic designer and art director the majority of the time. However, I am an extremely opportunistic photographer. I walk the line between amateur and professional. And probably tread a bit closer to the amateur side.
Resolute Racing Shells is a client of ours at Barnum Design. In an effort to elevate their brand persona and to truly showcase the intense athleticism of crew rowing, this project work has been an absolute blast … from brand positioning and identity to photography, from web design/development to print collateral. And hopefully we can start designing custom paint jobs for the hulls of these boats.
Its not often that I arise just before the sun rears is head at dawn. And then get out on a very small boat with nothing holding me in other than my own two lanky legs. And my extremely high center of gravity. Two things that don’t lend oneself to be all that stable. Regardless, this was one of my most enjoyable photography assignments.
And to top it all off … two of the men’s crew were bitten by some mangy little mut dog that we were trying to keep from running out into the street. But that’s another story all together !!
